Summer is drawing to an end, and I've accomplished most of the things I've wanted to.  I successfully became addicted to WoW and, at this moment, have a level 42 troll warrior.  I came back alive with 2 & 1/2 pounds of fudge from Minnesota after a week of canoeing.  Sarah and I successfully reached our six months and are still very happy.  Loderia (arguably) successfully converted to the Council, and arrangements for an update are being made.  We had our Baldur's Gate LAN party and successfully finished the first game, and began the second.  I successfully registered at NIU and am preparing for fall classes.  I managed to not kill any little children at Cub Camp, but rather converted them to be my minions (Everyone loves Jester!).

Some things I still haven't finished yet would be completeing Sarah's leather armor and finishing up all the leather bras for the SFA.

Meh, that's about all for my goals.  Life's been going as it always has, with its ups and downs.  I'd like to remove a certain someone from the face of the earth, but there's no need to go into that discussion.  He's already been alienated from the vast majority of people.  Other than that, I've just been working, fighting, hanging out with Sarah, and playing WoW.  It's not terribly exciting, but it's my life, and I'm content.  I hope everyone else can be content as well.

So it's been a really long time, and I was told to update my site by probably the only person who reads this ;)  It's been 6 months since my last entry, and quite a bit has happened in that time.  I drove to Tennessee, I fell in love yet again, I became certified to teach young children how to shoot air rifles, and I've drawn more houses than I ever care to again.

Had I updated two days ago, I wouldn't have had to add this to my list.  I've also seen an animal in its death throes.  My cat, Tiger, is passing away, and not peacefully like most people would want to.  Unfortunately, she's going out in a series of seizures and convulsions, mixed in with a couple strokes.  Petting her as she twitched on the floor, she looked to be in such pain that I could only stay in the room for a couple moments before uttering "I have to go to work" to my brother, and leaving the room before I broke down in tears.  I will miss that cat, no matter how much I say otherwise.  I just hope it ends soon.

Other than that, my life has been going fairly well.  I'm reconnecting with a person who made me a lot of who I am, and she knows who she is :P  And I forgive her for playing a gnome.  Yes, a gnome, those despicable abominations of life.  I've become addicted to World of Warcraft due to various forces pulling on me in every which direction, and now Torgal, Troll Warrior of the Horde roams the server Demon Soul in search of ever-more powerful magic items and the chance to slay the alliance.

My fighting group has a lot of extra drama right now that threatens to tear apart many friendships and seperate people who used to call one another brothers and sisters.  Unfortunately, that's probably the best option rather than risk all out war and make things even more bitter.  People once called friends have become foes, and new allies have risen from unlikely places.

I suppose the most defining part of the past six months has actually happened in the past five.  I met a wonderful young woman named Sarah (not the previous one :P), and she and I have been dating for the past five months.  In fact, today is our five month marker, and we're going on a picnic... fortunately not at the toxic waste dump like I was led to believe (long story, it's a park now, but before it was a dump, and she didn't know that :P).  I love her very much, and words cannot describe how much she means to me.

I'm working full time now, making the big bucks :P  Well, over the summer anyhow.  This fall I'll be transfering to Northern Illinois University, just got my acceptance letter in the mail a couple days ago, so now I just need to fill out a few last things and I'll be on my way to earning my degree in Mechanical Engineering.  Well, that's about all for now.

There Ash, I updated :P  A lot longer than yours, might I add ;)  Then again, I had more time to make up for.

Happy New Years to everyone.  It's 2006.  Joy ;)  I'll have to get used to writing that on checks and such.  I was out at Lake Holiday for the New Years.  A lot happened and I'm still trying to digest it all, so bear with me.

Friday night, we did the usual DnD til 5:20 in the morning, and then slept til about noon.  I went home, and then went back out to Lake Holiday at like 6.  Well, when I got there, Jason had apparently already wrestled everyone in the room, so he called me out.  So we did our wrestling, and I think he let me win, though he claims he didn't. If he hadn't already been thrown around so much and gotten the pile driver from Hell from Dameon, I'm certain he would have beaten me.  Well, he called me out again, and I tried a move I've been working on.  A little Spin from my hero, Neji.  Well, I accidently elbowed Jason in the nuts, so he went down screaming "Medic!"  I felt bad, but he was laughing, and so was everyone else, so I guess it was ok.

The rest of the night consisted of chasing around the dog outside because Jackie let her out four times in the space of one weekend because she doesn't know how to close a door.  Everyone was pissed, including me (which is a feat impressive enough in and of itself, since I never get pissed), but we tracked down the dog everytime.  She always ran over towards the bar.  The other part of the night consisted of almost everyone sitting in the DnD room, smoking and drinking, while couples took turns going down to Dameon's room to have sex.  Lo and behold, Bechtol and I, the ultimate nerds/geeks, spent our time playing Super Smash Brothers Melee and reading through Dungeons and Dragons sourcebooks about rules and such.  Wow.  I'm lame, I know ;)

I'm kinda pissed about something else that happened last night, but I'm not going to state it here because you never know who might read this.  If you're truly curious, I'll explain it to you.  My AIM is Teron002.  Needless to say, it was probably one of the lowest blows I've ever been dealt.

I had a master plan to ring in the New Years, but unfortunately, I hatched this plan when we were about 3 minutes away from the countdown, so I didn't have the materials ready.  Since this house has no radio and no TV connection, I wanted to play a video of last year's New Years ;)  Everyone would be counting down... "5... 4... 3... 2... 1... Happy 200!...5?  The hell?!"  Ah, that would have been fun.  But alas, my plan was never to come to frution.  Afterwards, everyone went back to thier sex, booze, and cigarettes, and I studied the Dungeon Master's guide a bit more (since originally we were supposed to play DnD, but that was shot down) before leaving at 1:30 to pick up Jarvis.

Jarvis... he had it rough.  His sister was just in a single car accident last night in which she ended up breaking her neck.  Fortuantely she's in stable condition now and is on her way to healing.  He's also getting fired from his job because he didn't go into work last night (well yeah, he had to ride and his sister was hospitalized, I wouldn't go either).  I took him to work today, so hopefully he's not getting fired.  We'll see.

I spent the rest of the night playing SSBM and having an hour long conversation with Bechtol about how we both hate talking (I know, I know, hypocrites).  Ixous, Sarah, and Kim went to all the rooms where the various couples were sleeping, barged in, and started flashing them all with a camera.  Needless to say, they pissed off a lot of people.  At about 6:20 AM, Jarvis and I went to Walmart to get some food for everyone and all that good stuff... Briar then told me something that made me laugh.  "Aldanius, Loderia doesn't appreciate you.  You should join Dunharrow (his fighting realm)."  I got a kick out of that ;)

Nothing really happened the rest of the day.  People trickled out, and I joined the Barnyard Bandit Squad officially as I helped Brandon hunt down a pair of mice that are living in his kitchen.  My tracking skills are pretty good, it seems ;)  I must've rolled 20s on my spot checks ;).

Mmm... that's about it.  Like I said, I took Jarvis to work, and now I'm sitting at home, ready to pass out from lack of sleep, but I'm also running on a lot of SoBe, which is to be expected from me.  They drank alcohol, I drank SoBe.  It all works out.  I guess I'm gonna go kill some things online so I feel better.  Sorry if this entry bored you, but remember, no one forced to you read it all ;)

Thursday, December 22, 2005

Well, Monday I broke up with Sarah.  Her friends say it's because I don't have a heart, but I'd rather say its because I do have a heart.  I let her go now instead of doing it farther down the road when she would be even more enraptured and then devastated by my actions.  She'll move on, she's a strong girl.

On the flip side, there was an old man walking with a cane and suitcase of luggage down Route 47 today, right outside my work.  He looked to be in his late 60s, early 70s.  I felt bad for him, so I went to the ATM.  I told him I couldn't give him a ride because I was at work, but I gave him 40 bucks for a bus fare or cab or something.  He looked thoroughly suprised.  Maybe he thought I was going to mug him, being a young punk and all ;)  Either way, he was quite happy.  We exchanged "Merry Christmas"s and went our seperate ways.  But before he left my field of vision, I saw him give me a thumbs up (different from one he was using to try to get a ride, of course).  So I feel pretty good right now.  Sure, it might have been a scam, but it also might not have been.  And I have a good feeling that it wasn't. :)

Merry Christmas to everyone.  Enjoy your holidays.
